Tutorial: How to Create a New Project

Creating a new project is an essential step in organizing and managing your projects. Follow these steps to create a new project efficiently:

  1. Click the + New Button on the top right

  2. Set the location: This will allow your project to be set on the load screen

  3. Project Name : This will give your project a nice name to remember it by.

  4. Select your file type: This will allow Scout to determine which file needs to be uploaded.

      2. Area Type
      3. Cleaning
      4. Custom

  5. Hitting Skip: This button is for users who have data that requires no classification processing. By hitting this button, we will use the current classification layers for processing.

  6. Upload your project files: File sizes can range from small to very large. The upload speeds and times may vary depending on your internet connection, location, and bandwidth. Please do not close this browser window while uploading. You may consider having a coffee while the files are being uploaded to our servers.

  7. Select the EPSG Code: To get started, kindly input the EPSG coordinate system code you wish to use. This will grant you entry to the GeoCalc Online Registry, providing you with the latest and most comprehensive definitions of a variety of coordinate systems. This invaluable resource ensures you have access to a wealth of information, guaranteeing that you possess the most up-to-date and accurate data pertaining to your selected coordinate system.
